The Waterside building
The Port Adelaide Waterside Workers Federation Hall was built by the union in 1926 for its members and the local community for concerts, films and other social events. It was built as a result of wharfies paying a levy from their wages as a centre for workers' entertainment. Waterside is a Heritage listed building that is safe, secure and useable and is the only large venue of its type in the local area. How To Get here
We are located at 11 Nile Street, Port Adelaide approximately 15 minutes drive from Adelaide’s CBD. There is a large car park as well as unrestricted street parking in the surrounding area. A bus service runs to and from the CBD and the train station is 5 minutes walk away. View bus and train schedules here
